"Kevin, the host, was the easiest & friendliest owner I’ve ever worked with for a stay. He was very communicative, very friendly, had a ton of great information & advice, & really made the trip stress & hassle-free. Such a tremendous experience! On top of that, the home was very well maintained & cared for, had all the amenities you may need, & was literally right next to a beach access boardwalk. Super convenient! In addition to that, this home is definitely pet-friendly, as there is a fenced in yard beneath the home that even has doggie/poop bags conveniently provided in a container that’s mounted to one of the stilts near the stairs. We did not bring our dogs with us this trip, but we will definitely consider doing so the next time we come down. It’s rare that I stay in the same place multiple times, but this experience was so wonderful that my family & I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we come visit. Kevin has definitely done a great job making Gilligan’s Beach Hut feel like a home away from home. We can’t thank him enough for the wonderful experience & cozy weekend by the sea. "

"Great location but hotel was old and not very clean. Had to ask for towels (none in room). Sheets appeared to have been slept in. Will not visit this motel again. Stay further away and drive to the beach, you’ll be happy you did!"
