Our stay at Harborwalk Lodge was fantastic. It’s off the beaten path but close enough to Galveston where the drive is nominal. The breakfast was delicious, the room was great, and the owners are a joy. 10/10 would stay there again.

Had the most wonderful stay at harborwalk Lodge. It's owned by the nicest and most accommodating couple, David and Patricia. Patricia is a chef and made us the most delicious breakfasts. The place is immaculate and is decorated nicely. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was so relaxing and had everything we needed. If we are ever in the area, we will be staying here.

This place is more like a bed and breakfast, so don't expect a Holiday Inn type set up. There is a common room that makes you feel like you stepped into your living room from your bedroom. The breakfast won't be like a continental breakfast, instead it's a buffet! Then have coffee on the screened in deck where you can view the birds of the area. It's relaxing and so worth the money. Check into the fishing charters from here, too!

Home Away From Home

We had an amazing time at Harborwalk Lodge. We lucked out and had the entire place to ourselves. It's a beautiful lodge with extremely comfortable, clean accommodations. The hospitality we received from the owners and staff was so warm and welcoming. They made us feel more like family visiting as opposed to hotel guests. We would stay here again if and when we return to the area.

Quiet long weekend getaway

Better than we expected! Harborwalk has very nice accommodations and is located in a very quiet location a short drive from good restaurants and the island. The owners, David and Patricia, are super friendly and hospitable beyond compare. Patricia prepared a freshly made breakfast each morning that was unbelievably good. We enjoyed visiting with the other guests during our stay. Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Harborwalk Lodge! David and his wife do an excellent job and make you feel right at home. From the room and service to the fabulous French inspired breakfast in the morning…this is a must if traveling in this area! We will for sure be back.

Loved the location surrounded by bayou so felt remote while only minutes away from conveniences. The owners were very attentive to us and provided special touches whether in the personalized breakfast, complimentary snacks available, or suggestions of fine dining. The common areas were not only attractive but provided an "at home" feel to them. Only suggestion would be to put small fridges in the rooms back where the safe is located.

My wife and I were celebrating our 28 year anniversary and our desire was to find a quiet and serene place away from the city. Harborwalk Lodge was perfect. We enjoyed our stay with the folks at Harborwalk Lodge. The owners are awesome! This tucked away little piece of nirvana is quiet, beautiful, and the best place to get away for a weekend. We plan to return there on our next trip to Galveston. We recommend this location to anyone that is looking for a unique escape for a great price!

our stay was absolutely perfect. we were there fishing for the weekend, there was great parking, electric and water for our boat. Breakfast was awesome, and David was most generous and kind to be helpful and very informative. We will definitely be back to visit very soon for many many stays in the future.
