「Charming cottage within walking distance of Alden Michigan. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils and kitchen items!! Bathrooms VERY clean as well and plenty of sitting areas for guests. We had 2 nights with 11 guests and everyone had a bed and extra bedding was provided! Great dock with ample deck chairs and a mooring buoy which held our 24’ master craft boat all week long! 」

「Best of both worlds. Tucked away in the woods and near Lake Michigan, but a quick bike ride to town. Cottage is absolutely charming, well-appointed, and perfect for a family vacation with kids. 」

「Loved that the lake was only a few steps out our door and the lake was perfect for swimming. Also the hot tub which was shared was never overcrowded. Would definitely recommend to others as a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room in the cabin for myself, my 9 year old daughter and her two 16 year old girlfriends. 」

「The house was very nice, clean, plenty of room and furnished nicely. It had been recently updated and full of everything you might need. The bedding, dishes, towels etc. were top notch. The owners were very nice and considerate of our needs. They were a pleasure to talk to.」

「This cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The location was great for visiting Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Fishtown and more. Our teens who love to fish spent hours in the kayaks on the lake bass fishing. We rented a pontoon on Long Lake one day too (so close). The kitchen had everything we needed for meals at house and we used the grill several times. The hosts were easy to reach if needed. Would highly recommend. One tip: bring your own drinking water. 」

「We had a wonderful stay at River Falld Cottage! The location is perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet convenient to everything we needed. The house was well-equipped with everything to make our weekend comfortable and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, steam shower, and the beautiful views of the river right outside the windows. It was the perfect spot for a refreshing getaway, and we will definitely stay here again.」

「Ample parking for our car & boat trailer. Fully stocked kitchen. Huge family room with beautiful windows overlooking the water. Large, private lot - great for yard games! Individual a/c units in each living space were fantastic. Comfortable furniture & bedding. Gas grill & washer/dryer were a bonus. The dock was a great spot to moor our boat and enjoy a cup of coffee/glass of wine.」

「Older cottage that has been restored very nicely. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The outside was very spacious and soooo quite. You can walk to the beach and yet was very close to Charlevoix. Gerry was a great host and saw to our every need.Thanks」

「Great spot right in town. Lots of live music, good local restaurants and shops. House was clean and perfect for what we needed. 2 parents, 2 adult children and 2 teens with plenty of rooms for all to be comfortable. The 2 bathrooms were a lifesaver! Host was great and responded quickly! Great place to stay. And down the street to Lake Michigan, maybe a 5 mins walk. Can’t beat the location. 」
