"On the same street as Wyndham Sun Moon Lake, but cost 10x less. Good for 1-2nights stay. Clean place with private, lockable cabins, and very near the ITA Thao shopping street and pier. You can walk along the lake to the cable car station and the Nine Frogs Stack 九蛙疊像. Even though the opening hours of some food stores are quite unpredictable, there are plenty of options and two convenience stores around."

"The dinner and the breakfast were both amazing. They provided me a vegetarian meal that was well balanced and delicious. The rooms are quiet except for the frogs but the earplugs did the trick. I slept really well. As a solo female traveler it’s a safe, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Sun Moon Lake. You can make a carpool reservation on Trip Pool if you don’t want to take the bus. Uber does work but during the week there are not...

"Very affordable, great access to the Sun Moon Lake, the homestay owner did not speak English but used his best Google Translation skill to give us so many tips on things to do around the lake. Highly recommend taking a bicycle tour around the lake which will take about 3-5 hours but the view throughout is absolutely stunning."
