「Our stay at Joy’s Villas was incredible. The villas are in a perfect location; it’s quiet, with incredible views but also very close to Chania and some amazing beaches and restaurants. The Villa was beautiful inside and out; with breath taking views. Communication with the host was great, and upon arrival we had a basket of local treats which was a nice surprise! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay near Chania. You won’t be disappointed!」

「The staff were very welcoming and lovely. The room was clean and stocked with treats, the spa was sensational, and the meals were great. We did ask for our room to be cleaned and only the bed was made - they did not remove used drink glasses, wipe surfaces, or replenish the coffee pods for our espresso machine. But the drinks were strong, the pool was gorgeous, and overall very happy with our experience!」

「I truly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Akrotiri. The staff and the owner were incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home—they treated me like part of the family. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh, high-quality local products. Yesterday, I was also pleasantly surprised with a lovely little gift of local olive oil and natural honey, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I felt genuinely welcomed, comfortable, and happy during my stay at this hotel. I am...

「Lovely hotel with a very substantial choice of breakfast - you can definitely eat like a king in the morning! Private dipping pool was great and location was quiet with a nice view of downtown. However, it is a bit far and you need a car or have to rely on buses (or just lots of walking including uphill on the way back). Staff were helpful and polite in general. Only drawback is the balcony part is not totally private, especially if the next door guests are outside at the same time.」
