We had an excellent, if short, stay. The hotel should really be 4 stars, hands down. Room (suite) was impecable, great furnishings and bedding, staff accommodating and free parking very convenient. The location is as best it can be, right in the harbor, with magnificent views. The only place we will consider if we return to Chania.

We liked everything about the hotel! Excellent location. Forget about eating in the cafes along the waterfront. The dinner we had in the hotel restaurant was the best of our trip thus far and the lowest cost!

We had a delicious dinner in the outdoor restaurant overlooking the harbour. The woman on the front door was very helpful. The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. If I come again, which I would like to, I will ask for a room at the front of the hotel with a good view.

EXCELLENT location in the Venetian Harbor! Walkable to all the shops and tavernas. We loved having coffee on the small balcony overlooking the harbor and the sunsets were spectacular. Our room was a double room and was quite small but overall we were very comfortable and happy with our stay.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic for my stay in Chanía. The room was snug, but had great amenities and great view of the port. The proximity to everything was perfect and made everything easy to walk to in town and take nightly strolls along the port. The staff is what made this trip exceptional. They were friendly and helped me coordinate excursions and figure out local bus schedules. I really enjoyed the on-site restaurant and bar, everyone provided fantastic service and were extremely personable; while the food was delicious and authentic- I especially miss the dessert! If you are hesistant with staying here- don’t! It is worth every penny.

Literally the best location! Staff were extremely nice & helpful, especially the guy at 2am working the morning we arrived. Everything about this hotel is top notch including the onsite restaurant! Best hotel we stayed at our entire trip!

Excellent séjour au Porto Veneziano Hotel! L’emplacement est idéal pour profiter de Chania à pied. La chambre est un peu petite, mais confortable, avec un balcon très agréable. La douche est de bonne dimension et bien conçue — enfin une salle de bain où l’eau ne se retrouve pas partout! Le personnel est très sympathique, accueillant et serviable. Le stationnement est également très pratique. Gros coup de cœur pour le petit-déjeuner : beaucoup de choix à la carte, service à la table et petit buffet en complément. Les aliments sont frais et les plats de très bonne qualité. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation.
