「The decor was really something special. The room I stayed in was Marco Polo. Although a little on the dark side, the lighting was done well that you did not realise so much. The bath was amazing. The water temperature and how quick it filled up was great. My husband said the shower was fabulous and he did not want to come out. 「Great stay, the staff were friendly and welcoming, rooms were clean and beds comfortable, my only criticism is the rooms didn’t have a fan or aircon, apart from that, it’s a really nice quiet hotel, will definatley stay again.」

「Late check in, nobody there until 4pm, the parking they advertise does not exist」

「++good」

「Perfectly clean and functional. Useful when visiting my university student son living in Selly Oak. Didn't partake of breakfast but Morrisons and Aldi nearby.」

「The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I had an issue with my lost baggage during my stay, and although I was unfortunately unable to receive it in the end, the staff spent a lot of time helping me deal with the situation. I really appreciated their kindness and support. Thank you very much!」

「The room was absolutely awful. A hostel with shared amenities would have been better. Would definitely not recommend」

「Wasn’t expecting much after reading lots of reviews. Was pleasantly suprised. Staff were lovely, breakfast was cooked to order and also lovely. Room was tidy, not sparkling but clean enough. Bathroom definitely needs some maintenance though. Didnt sleep much as matress was extremely uncomfortable as i had read and I could feel every spring. Also the bathroom light wouldn’t turn off and the bedroom could do with a lamp. But honestly for what I paid it was fine. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay...

「Clean rooms , lovely staff wonderful location . However it would be really helpful if there are some options of same gender en-suites .」

「It was dirty, cheet bed and cover duvet not change and not cleaning. No towels. I am not recognised. We left after see bed not clean. 」
