"A warm welcome at reception. On a very hot day it was wonderful to step into my room and find a fan on. All staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spotless and had everything I needed. The large bed was very comfortable. I had dinner and breakfast, both were very tasty. The dinner menu had an excellent selection of food. Free parking close to my room was very welcome. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for your excellent service and hospitality."

"My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in July. Lynette let us in early on the first day and we were allowed to stay a bit later. This is really appreciated when there’s no one staying just before or after. Some of the access and departure times are still as bad as during Covid! The bungalow is in a lovely quiet gated development within easy walking distance of everything in Stamford town, including Waitrose. The 2 parking spaces are a great addition. The bungalow is very well equipped. Hot water was good and the main bedroom didn’t get too hot even though it was very warm when we stayed. The little courtyard is lovely too. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful accomodation and accessibility. I really could not, or want to, be critical of anything with our stay. The air conditioning was a massive bonus on one of the hottest day of the year and with us bringing our dog, our room had its own patio and direct access onto the gardens , which was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and professional with a superb breakfast. I Would definitely recommend for a special occasion stay."

"This cottage is lovely and we were so pleased to be presented with some freshly baked bread, fresh eggs and other things. The location is perfect for exploring and all villages etc are so close. Food in surrounding villages excellent, particularly the fox and the Wheatsheaf."
