We really enjoyed our stay . The hotel has a lovely feel and has very attentive and friendly staff . On arrival Rachel really looked after us giving us a most delightful room which enhanced our stay further. Lovely old hotel

Very friendly staff throughout our stay. Large room, very comfortable and nice to have a large fan keeping us cool at night. Only issue was the lack of power sockets in this day and age when tech is king, but we managed. Ate at Milly's on the first evening and breakfast on both days, all very nice. Would recommend, especially as Burghley House Estate is literally at the back of the hotel and Stamford itself is a lovely town.
