「A beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Room was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast too.」

「シティセンターから近く、建物はクラシカルな外観で重厚感がある。ネットの写真に比べ建物内部及び各部屋は少し暗い雰囲気。部屋の内装はクラシカルで素敵だったが、ネットでは部屋にバスタブがあると書いてあったのでそれを楽しみに予約したが2泊したがどちらの部屋にもシャワーしかなかったので非常に残念だった。シャワーは上部とサイドの２箇所からお湯が出たのでまだ良かった。 部屋にあった備付けの飲み物(紅茶、コーヒー等)が豊富でクッキーもあり良かった。 朝食はメインを５種類位から選べ、同行者の分と合わせ３種類ともとても良かった。 総合して、一般的なホテルの造りに比べクラシカルで非日常を味わえる空間としてとても良かった。また機会があれば泊まりたい。 」

「City Centerから近く、マリオットのロゴが目立ち分かりやすい所にある。白い外観で爽やかな印象。ただエントランスが分かりにくく、駐車場を入った奥にあった。部屋はとても綺麗だった。バスタブが付いてないと思っていたが私の部屋にはあったので嬉しく入浴でとてもリラックスできた。またwifiも有料とネットにあったがfree-wifiは無料で利用できた。朝食はバイキングだが種類が少ないし野菜がないのがちょっと残念だった。総合して場所と清潔さはとても良い。 」

「場所が少し不便な所にあり、しかも急な坂道を登らないといけないのが少し不便だった。延泊し2泊したが1泊目の部屋が暖房が効いておらず寒かった。2泊目の部屋は暖かった。建物の外観、部屋の雰囲気はとても良かった。またお風呂は広く快適だった。朝食は数種類から選べ、2種類食べたがどちらも美味しかった。パンとサーモンが美味しい。 夜はホテルに併設しているインド料理を食べたが、宿泊者は割引があり、味も美味しかった。 ダラムに着いて初めての宿泊先、食事だったが、こちらのホテルのおかげで、ダラムの印象が良いものとなった。」

「Good free breakfast for all guests although we were charged extra by Expedia which was annoying. Dated decor in the rooms but clean bathroom. Our room was very cold and the heating only worked intermittently (we turned the radiator to full but it came on for about an hour one night and roasted us on the final night, two other nights had no heating at all). Parking was ok but we got the last available space on a couple of days after going out… I think you can park in the approach road for free...

「Booked for an overnight stay as working the music festival at Herrington Park. Excellent communication. Staff polite & professional and happy to accommodate our needs. We had a good sized twin room with all amenities and a large shower room. A good variety of options at breakfast with lovely views overlooking the fields..,, Would happily recommend.」

「We received a very warm welcome upon arrival from the reception staff. They were very helpful and friendly Our room was very nice and clean. The shower over the bath could do with upgrading The grounds are beautiful and although it was very busy with two weddings and and abundance of golfers there was plenty of staff to accommodate the demand. I would definitely recommend and stay again」

「車で移動する人は、全く問題のないモーテル型宿泊施設。レストランはありますか、物品の販売はなく、周辺にも食品などを買う店はないので注意が必要です。コストに見合った滞在でした。レストランは非常においしく、地場産牛肉の素晴らしいステーキと甘みたっぷりのフライドポテトが昼から楽しめました。朝は、チョイスが少なく肉類は豚のみだったので、遠慮しました。」

「We stayed in room 102 (cosy room) a lovely little room over looking the gardens. The room was clean and spacious with a walk in shower. We had breakfast which was delicious , served by Rachel the hotel manager, she was bubbly and very approachable giving plenty of suggestions for our trip. The hotel is normally busy but turned out we were the only guest for the evening which made for a peaceful stay (no complaints here) 」

「Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. A real asset to the Old...
