「シティセンターから近く、建物はクラシカルな外観で重厚感がある。ネットの写真に比べ建物内部及び各部屋は少し暗い雰囲気。部屋の内装はクラシカルで素敵だったが、ネットでは部屋にバスタブがあると書いてあったのでそれを楽しみに予約したが2泊したがどちらの部屋にもシャワーしかなかったので非常に残念だった。シャワーは上部とサイドの２箇所からお湯が出たのでまだ良かった。 部屋にあった備付けの飲み物(紅茶、コーヒー等)が豊富でクッキーもあり良かった。 朝食はメインを５種類位から選べ、同行者の分と合わせ３種類ともとても良かった。 総合して、一般的なホテルの造りに比べクラシカルで非日常を味わえる空間としてとても良かった。また機会があれば泊まりたい。 」

「First class as always, this is our fourth visit and we are already planning our next one. From a seamless check in with an amazingly warm welcome from Nicola and Cheryl who remembered us from previous visits. The room was excellent and the housekeeping team did a fabulous job throughout our stay, nothing is too much trouble. 「Evrything was ferst rate」

「車で移動する人は、全く問題のないモーテル型宿泊施設。レストランはありますか、物品の販売はなく、周辺にも食品などを買う店はないので注意が必要です。コストに見合った滞在でした。レストランは非常においしく、地場産牛肉の素晴らしいステーキと甘みたっぷりのフライドポテトが昼から楽しめました。朝は、チョイスが少なく肉類は豚のみだったので、遠慮しました。」

「Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. 「Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.」

「There was no breakfast available despite the description stating there was. The bath had no plug & the electric shower was very temperamental (from cold to scalding). The decor left a lot to be desired with nails/screws sticking out of the walls. There wasn’t a TV in each room & bedroom furniture was unstable.」

「was able to park just in front of stable room work is in progress at the property so didnt look its best on the outside,inside was fab we had everything we needed plus extras like fridge ,toaster,microwave plenty of plates mugs dishes good drinks making equipment,single beds were comfy and spotless,tv was a bit confusing but we managed in the end,we had a lot of noise on the 2 nd evening and early morning could have been the workmen🙄 the royal oak pub is extremely welcoming drinks and meals...

「First visit to Bowes incline and won't be the last.If it was on 4 in bed program I could be hyper critical on a couple of issues but I'm not.I always give a fair and balanced review's and this is what I'm doing,first impression of hotel was clean and well maintained,staff on reception were friendly and welcoming explained breakfast set up and evening meals.rooms are small but cozy for two and well appointed .can get a bit noisy in morning when people going for breakfast with doors...

「Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel.」

「Room was nice and clean and well presented but you may need to bring an extra plug or 2 as I could only find 1 plug socket so I had to swap around charging. But overall it was a nice place to stay」
