Meh.
This is a very old home. The woodwork inside is beautiful along with the stained glass window. However, the electrical has not upgraded and is still knob and tube in some areas of the house. The home seemed clean, however there were rodent traps in every room of the home. The property is in a less than desirable area of Springfield. Saying that, nothing happened to note, however, I did not feel safe taking my dog out after dark. I inquired with VRBO concerning the check in process. They ensured me that sending in each guests license prior to arrival so that your ID could be verified by ring cam was a normalProcess even though I have never been asked to do that previously. Saying that, we felt we were being watched from the outdoor porch cam considering the owner used it to communicate with someGuests to ask them to turn the porch light on. I have no reason to return to Springfield now that my daughter has graduated, but I would find somewhere else to stay If I found the need.
