"We only had a stop over, we stayed in the part that I guess was modern a few years ago, it could do with a refresh now and it's become dated. It needs a bit of money spent on it."

"Simon, the landlord, was personable and very helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast which were very nice. Our room was fine and the bathroom facilities adequate. The property generally could do with a bit of tlc but, that said, we had a nice stay."

"Very helpful staff both on reception and bar/restaurant. Such a shame that the surrounding area has deteriorated so much, I could not recognise it at all. So sad."
