5/5 - Excellent
Perfect little country town!! We loved it!!

While visiting Rio Vista Estates, you might make a stop by sights like Rio Grande National Forest and Rio Grande.

While Ponderosa Pines isn't home to many top sights, Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad and Rio Grande Club are some notable places to visit nearby.

Though Beaver Mountain might not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad and Rio Grande Club.

While Rivers Edge might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Wolf Creek Anglers and Rio Grande Club.

Loved the Cabin Breakfast place
There's not much to talk about in South Fork. There is some lodging but I would say few restaurant/dining choices. The Spruce Lodge worked perfect for me as all I really needed was a stay over for the next day skiing.
Bring a spare tire, or tire repair kit, if you plan on traveling the Jeep trails or drive to trailheads. The rocks are very sharp in this area, and we did get a flat. We got the flat repaired for only $10 in Alamosa’s Wal Mart Auto Center.
The description on Expedia of the Lodge was not like it actually was. We had all the bathroom toiletries but soap. What’s up with that!!! Also, out entry number was incorrect and no one on the site. Poor management.
We were 9 miles out of town.
