"I was sorely disappointed in this place, but maybe that's just because I'm not a fan of Florida in general. No coffee maker or teapot in room and absolutely no amenities is lame. It felt more like an abusive relationship than a customer- focused hotel. And, it's a place with virtually no realistic public transportation; why charge for parking? Just add the $5/night to the cost of the stay. Doing it the way they do makes you feel like you're being nickel and dimed. Room smelled musty from the AC unit too. I wouldn't stay there again, and iI wouldn't recommend it to a friend. "

"Love the property. Been staying there for decades. I asked for an extra hour late check out which was denied. I was ok with that and departed on time but was then charged over $600 for a late check out. I had to make several calls and spent a lot of time getting it reversed and my credit card credited."

"This is a very cool resort!Main Lobby & Reception area is super stylish & inviting! I didn't stay in the more modern tower, I was over in what they call the Garden Hotel (probably the original 2 story unit). The rooms were very clean/comfortable. I loved the styling! There are several light accents & cool privacy screens for the window. Everything was well maintained/sturdy. Bed was very comfy too. There's a ton of parking behind the property, but the closer lot fills up fast if you don't arrive until later. I loved the bracelet key cards so you could just hold your wrist up to the doors for entry. Pools were very nice & plenty of entertainment/drink options everywhere. They were working on the main lawn the whole time, so most of the grass activities weren't accessible a majority of the time. There's a Starbucks onsite which grants visitors a discount. It was a super cool place & I might be staying there again for my next visit!"

"We just spent 4 nights here. Check in was great, very friendly and welcoming. We got there before noon so our room wasn't ready, They said they would call when it was ready and gave us a key to access the pool, chairs for the beach, and towels. They also took all our luggage and stored it for us since we were returning our rental car, (You don't really need a car if your staying there). The room was way bigger than we thought with a full kitchen, oven. stove and full refrigerator and freezer. We booked the king with balcony. The Balcony was not a great view. basically facing another building but we still enjoyed it. The roof top pool and hot tub is awesome. We especially like every time you come and went there is usually someone to greet you and get the door. The only thing my wife said was the bathroom was a little dark for getting ready and putting on make up. (Diva) Location is great so many restaurants and bars to walk to even though you pay beach prices great selection. will definitely come back! Thank you Costa Hollywood Beach Resort for a great Vacation!!"

"I have stayed at b ocean multiple times over the years and this past visit was rather disappointing. At check in there was a lot of chaos in general and the girl who checked me in messed up our reservation. It did get fixed but she then tried to have me pay for someone else’s room hold and said it was the same amount of money so it was no big deal. The guy at the desk told her no. She then gave us directions to the wrong area of where we were staying and we needed to remind her to give us our beach bands. Our room was not exactly what it’s been in the past either, which was disappointing. We don’t need our room cleaned crazily or anything but we weren’t even given wash cloths to wash up with on the second day. We also came back to our room and the door was left cracked open. There seemed to be some issues too with electric because our ac kicked in and everything turned off and in the middle of the night it would not come on for a long time and the room would get super hot. And the staff in the restaurant downstairs for breakfast to check you in was just very unhelpful and we stood there after we had asked for a table and nobody helped us. It was odd. With that being said there was an amazing server at the pool restaurant outside who was extremely helpful and the property location is beautiful. There Weren’t any towels and the one lady was so kind and went to get us some and the people on the beach were also great. Again we’ve started numerous times and this was not the same"

"When we're in South Florida we always stay at Riverside. Old school hotel right in the heart of Las Olas. Great restaurants including The Boathouse right on the river with the pool, all we need! Perfect location. Great friendly staff."
