「Room was clean, bed comfortable, easy to find and breakfast was nice! It was fine for one night, but there was an awful smell from the shower. The drain looked clean but unfortunately we had to sleep with the bathroom door closed and windows open! We also waited 15 mins for someone to check us in. On checkout when mentioning the smell, we were told there were known issues but no apology. At £180/night it was definitely overpriced!」

「部屋の手入れが行き届いており建物の古さを感じさせない、駅から徒歩5分以内なのも良い。 チェックイン21時迄とあるが、バーが開いている間は問題ない模様、熱波で鉄道が遅延したので21時半到着となったが問題なくチェックインできた。 夕食提供は従業員の出勤状況に左右されるようなので事前に確認した方が安心。メニューはそこまで豊富でなく、バーガーやツマミがメイン。自分でツマミを持ち込んでお酒だけというのもあり。 緩いのが平気なら快適に過ごせると思う。」

「Lovely pub with rooms. Went for a friends birthday and had a super time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’m coeliac and the choice of gluten free food was very good. The fish and chips were excellent! Would highly recommend.」

「The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.」
