"I spent three nights and the facilities and staff were all top notch"

"Pros: Hotel is clean with trendy decorations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hamilton restaurant has good food and mixed drinks, but it is pricey. Cons: Taco Enzo is closed yet still advertised. We were told it might open again in a couple of months. "Pool party" on Saturday is a joke. DJ showed up 2.5 hours late. Advertised as "adults only pool party" but kids were in the pool all day. If you are looking for a party look elsewhere. $20 a day for self park."

"The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the air conditioning on our floor (7) was not robust. Even though the thermostat was set to 65 degrees, it was too warm for a blanket to be used at night. The bed was a little too soft for us but I think most people would be happy with it. The breakfast was excellent, we ordered off the menu and split a very good omelet, which was plenty of food for 2 people. I would stay here again!"

"This hotel seems to have taken a dive over the last 10 years. I don’t come to Dallas often but I’ve stayed here before and I feel like it’s really calm downhill. I always stay in the same wood paneled style room but this time there was visible water damage on the blackout blinds that you can lower. Like moldy. Also, the overflow drain on the bathtub came straight off and it was a jagged hole behind it and somebody’s contact lens came out of it. Also, they only had one towel and no washcloths in the bathroom and when we went to ask for more, they never came up. And nobody cleaned our room at all the two days that we were there. There was a light fixture in the ceiling in the bedroom that didn’t work from any switch. Just sad. This is an iconic building. I hope someone does something with it."
