"I stayed for 4 nights towards the end of July. Common areas are very impressive. Breakfast is pretty good - food items often running out though and you only get coffee out of flasks rather than a machine so not much variety. Gymn was small for the number of people using it. Car parking is ridiculously overpriced. But room was comfy and great staff so overall decent."

"Very enjoyable stay with easy distance from the centre of York and the railway station. Room was good and comfortable. The shower and washing dispensers seemed to be "muddled up". Breakfast choice was good and service efficient."

"As a solo female traveller I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I arrived early and was able to leave my bag at the reception, which was then delivered to my room. The room was spacious, well decorated and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel was easy to find and is a stones throw away from the train station all the main attractions. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking but a little tight. Breakfast with a small fee was excellent. Sink and refrigerator were nice. 2 free water bottles. 10-15 minutes from city center. The room in the loft was not good at all. The ceiling on some parts were so short so I hit my head twice. No window. Only one small skylight"

"Great location and at a reasonable price, just a short walk from the city centre with the added bonus of free parking. Spacious room and bathroom but if you did want to watch tv, this was miniscule. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very nice. The staff here were so friendly and helpful especially on reception. Would certainly return."
