"Friendly, helpful, responsive, polite staff. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. Rooms have an in-room refrigerator. Open air lobby has wonderful large fans for a full-time breeze. Restaurant (Haydn's) food is averagely good, and made-to-order. Gardens are very well-maintained. Oceanfront location, nice view of islands, but access not for swimming. Ocean water looks very clean; didn't see any trash in the water. Adjacent properties are various light industrial properties, but not obtrusive or loud. Separately run oceanfront open-air bar/bistro on the property. Not walkable, so consider the resort to be your one-stop shop. (We didn't use the casino facilities.)"

4/5 Good
Friendly & Economical
"This basic accomodation has all the key elements ... a good shower, good bed, good WiFi, good aircon.
It's not the Ritz, but excellent value - there's a shared kitchen if you want to do your own cooking.
The team are friendly too ... which always helps."

"We have lived and worked in the Pacific Islands for 34 years, so we’ve had many opportunities for stays in the various countries of the Pacific. While the people of Honiara are very kind, the city is not as enjoyable, due to the incredible traffic, dusty streets, and unimaginable construction of large buildings from foreign investments. Even so, the King Solomon Hotel was a very pleasant respite from all the negatives of the city. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and maintenance) were all very helpful and kind, with each doing their work very well. Next, the price per night offered value for the large bedrooms and housekeeping did an outstanding job of cleaning the room daily during our 9 day stay. The resturant’s food was delicious. (breakfast & lunch) and those working in the restaurant were very enjoyable and willing to help in any way needed. Prices at the restaurant are moderate. The front desk employees would never miss greeting guests as they would come & go. Our room was spacious and included a balcony. The AC worked very well with the daily hot temperatures outside. Again, we are regular visitors to the Solomon Islands…..and we look forward to again staying at King Solomon Hotel!"

Nice stay in Munda
"We enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful. We liked the lounge area and access to cooking equipment. Solomon was helpful in arranging a visit to the war museum and ride to the airport. "

2/5 Poor
"Looks very run down, ceiling fans were well past a usable life wobbling and noisy, most lights not working.
No daily room service.
No hotel room WiFi.
No TV in rooms.
Scuba Dive company left hotel in a rush !
This hotel needs a full upgrade if it is to attract overseas customers with the new International Munda Airport to open later in the year.
