We stayed for 2 nights, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel doesn't have a car park but the young lady on reception told us what to do, she let us leave our bags in reception and gave us directions to the local cricket club just around the corner ( 2 min walk) there is an honesty box at the cricket club for the parking fee. The breakfast was lovely, there is a wide range of choices from hot or cold. We would strongly recommend staying at this hotel and we will definitely be staying there again ourselves.

An okay hotel for a short stay. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay with veggies in the morning. Swimming pool is cold. Outdated.

My sister and I enjoyed our one night stay. We needed a little recuperation and this did the trick. The staff work very hard. We had dinner and it was delicious 😋.

We stayed overnight at The Gateway Inn for a nearby family function and it was absolutely lovely - we wish we could have stayed longer and definitely intend to come back. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms and bar/restaurant are all comfortably and beautifully finished. Our room was impeccably cleaned, furnished beautifully and had lovely amenities included (toiletries and tea/coffee, biscuits). Do pay attention to the hotel’s flag when booking about some rooms being less accessible to some patrons. We had to use quite a small, curved staircase part of the way to get to the room. The room at the end was well worth it and it was not an issue for us but it might be more difficult to use for others. The breakfast was delicious too and reasonably priced. We’re definitely going to try and visit again for a longer stay rather than a quick stop over.
