From the very beginning the staff welcomed us so warmly and told us about events going on like Fado at the sister property. The breakfast here is so delicious and clean! "Staff was very accommodating, and were able to store my baggage for the day while I went out to explore. Note that the hotel is in the driving restricted historic center, so likely your taxi or tuktuk will drop you off on the main road, and you'll have to walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Breakfast was small, but had everything we needed for a healthy start to the day. Room size was good, and bed was very comfy. Adjoining bathroom was quite large, with a comfortably sized antique rain shower that was set very high to accommodate any basketball player-sized guests. Room did come with a heater, which I appreciated. "

"Great location near the train station, right on the border between the old town with the scenic views and beautiful hikes, and the modern city centre. Great big room with loads of space, lovely bathroom, little kitchenette corner with a microwave, table, chairs, etc. Loved staying there. "
