"We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. The kitchen has a stove and microwave, but not much in the way of pots/pans or crockery so it's not great for cooking your own meals. The...

"There were some cosmetic things that needed to be done like the hallway before you entered the apartment needed to be patched up because in the ceiling there was a hole in it . And one of the bathrooms after someone used the Toliet it left a bad smell and the address when trying to find the apartment the first time took us to the wrong place until I had to contact the landlord to get the address overall the place was nice and had a nice view"

Charming hotel, wonderful staff, perfect location

"I can't recommend this hotel enough. The location is ideal, with the front door on Piața Sfatului, the main square in the heart of the old town. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops and see the highlights in the area. What was really delightful was the incredibly helpful and attentive staff. They are at the front desk 24 hours and answered all of our questions. They had a lovely note and gift in our room to celebrate our anniversary. They checked on us whenever they would see us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had everyone we need. And the hotel was delightful, rustic but very clean and with so much light. It was convenient to have the restaurant attached to the back, and the breakfast was really good. We can't wait to visit again. "
