"Odd location but I think hotel was there before everything was built up around it. GREAT that the was a Meijers within walking distance plus MULTIPLE food choices right nearby. Other shopping also very close. The hotel was very clean & pleasant, a little dated but that didn't stop our comfort there. The beds were THE BEST of many hotels I've stayed in & used them as my benchmark for the other 2 we stayed in on our trip. The staff was very friendly & always cleaning or doing something productive yet they always offered assistance or greetings at least. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub each night(pool floor does need resurfacing)& my son & his partner had a ball with the claw machine. They also enjoyed sitting in the surprise enclosed courtyard. Beautiful place to sit & relax with flowers, a gazebo & multiple seating choices. I'm an early bird so I appreciated using the gym in the morning(the bike needs the seat fixed) then coffee as soon as it was available & breakfast before most people were awake. Very good coffee. Breakfast was standard fare but hot & good choices. The breakfast area was very nice & like everything else very clean. I truly like hotels that prioritize the cleanliness. I will absolutely be coming back here when I visit the area. I know I'll get a great stay at a great value!"

"Beautiful, spacious property and home. Lots of sleeping arrangement options. Large kitchen, great for family cooking and conversation. If you are an animal lover, this is the place to be. We were welcomed in by a group of turkeys who visited frequently all weekend. Sally the goat was a constant friend as well. We also had a pony friend that came by the house from time to time. Lots of goats, horses, and cats to make friends with as well. We didn’t catch any fish, but had fun trying. Also enjoyed the nature, saw many bluebirds, cranes, and deer. Even saw a bald eagle. At night, we had lots of quality family and friend time by the campfire. This place combines a beautiful cozy home with all the benefits of the outdoors, making for a fun weekend with friends and family."

"This is a "motel", not a hotel. However, it was one of the most spacious "small" rooms in whch we ever stayed. The bed was a little hard for me but great for my wife. Now the toilet seat was not secured. One of the nuts on the seat was the wrong type and did not secure it. I would have complained if it wasn't for the fact that we only stayed one day."
