"Our stay was a great experience. I was able to relax and decompress despite my very short 16h stay thanks to the private and public open air baths, snacks, yukata, and attentive and welcoming staff. We initially were not sure how to get to the property from the Shirakawa Go bus terminal and had started a 30-minutr walk. But!--before we got to far, we spotted a shuttle with the Onyado Yui no Sho sign. We luckily were able to board the shuttle. We opted for the dinner and breakfast reservations and it definitely was a highlight of the experience-- traditional and fresh foods served as 3(?) courses, presented in beautiful dining pieces. Our sever was very friendly and accommodating, and even sought feedback on his English! (He shared with us that he has studied and plans to continue studying abroad, and his English will only improve!) I am very awe-inspired by the staff's dedication to hospitality. Our room was beautiful, clean, and spacious! Beds were comfortable. I will plan to return to Onyado Yui no Sho in the near future for much needed self-care and healing."

"Modern hotel is great position in Kanazawa. Although it is on one of the main roads it is very convenient for the castle, gardens, shrine, samurai district and the markets. It also has a microwave and washing machine which is very handy if you have been travelling for a couple of weeks as we had been. The rooms are a decent size for Japan which is nice. "
