「The lobby and hallways look great but the room I got was pretty run down. The mattress sagged so badly that I couldn't sleep on the side closest to the night table. The bathroom was worse- there was black mold on the ceiling and the tub glaze, caulk and grout were discolored and in poor condition. When I got home I found that my card had been charged an additional $200 for a $29 daily "amenity fee" which was not disclosed when I booked the room. 「We had a doctor's appointment in Portland so we made a weekend of it. Location was great. Vlose to everything we wanted to see and fo in Portland. Staff was very helpful. Room was nice. Coffee was tasty. Robes and slippers were fun. All in all it was a blast. 」

The building has a very classic and charming atmosphere, and the lobby is particularly impressive. The room facilities feel a bit dated. Breakfast service is excellent. All the staff are friendly, making for a comfortable stay."
