Luttrell Lodge is the go-to cabin for guests seeking an authentic log cabin in the Smokies with complete privacy. The cabin borders over 100 acres of forest, with hiking trails just a few yards away! Luttrell Lodge checks all of the boxes: A real, wood-burning fireplace, gazebo with hot tub, large decks, entertainment system, central heating and air, fast Wifi (200 mbps), and washer/dryer. Luttrell Lodge also features a dedicated workspace for those working away from home.

Please be aware that Black Bears are common at Luttrell Lodge - they love to play on our decks!

First off the smell in the bathroom downstairs was horrible. We had a bat in our cabin. The downstairs bedroom, has no curtains and the light from the cabin across the way glares right in. The bed had a dip in the middle. You aren’t able to adjust the thermostat and we was all dripping with sweat every night. The cabin was nice and pretty.

The Cabin is in a nice location, not too far from DT Gatlinburg. It was clean and secluded enough to have lots of privacy. We had to contact the property manager to change the thermostat setting and the issue was resolved within minutes.

The cabin was adorable, the privacy pretty perfect and the location/geography ideal for a quiet getaway. Overall the amenities, cleanliness, etc. were spot on, and the communication and instructions were great.Two points that weren't... 1) the mattresses are a little rough. not terrible, but for those with creaky backs, there’s not a ton of support. 2) there's no bear box. every single cabin we drove by had one. ours didn't. and sure enough, second to last night, bears sent a can spilling down the mountain. No real harm on us, except we were hesitant all week to take our garbage outside, expecting this to happen, and then a bit nervous that spilled garbage would attract MORE bears. the cabin really, really needs a bear box in this area. 3) upon arrival it was fine, but as the week went on, an unpleasant smell from the bathroom grew. not quite sewage, but yet kind of? it got bad enough that the last few days we kept the bathroom door closed and the fan on, hoping to keep the smell from wafting throughout. not the end of the world, but not great. perhaps it's just time to pump the tank, but that smell would absolutely prevent us from renting again.

We came for a long weekend getaway to catch a break. Cabin was a little difficult to navigate at first but we figured it out. Had all the things we needed for our stay. Was clean and well maintained. A few things need fixing like the upstairs middle window. The view and hot tub are wonderful. Would definitely go again.
