Room was clean. Ate breakfast in town and dinner. Across the street from hotel is food hall with excellent lunch options. Walkable to breakfast spots and dinner. Beautiful town. Close to Lava Tunnel and great stopping point on ring road. Only two hours to Vik

Great location to stop if you are heading south. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was an added bonus and was pretty good.

Charming hotel with warm staff, great food and lovely views. We were so happy to see the northern lights after a fun day exploring the sights. The staff goes out of the way to make you feel welcome. We loved sipping cocktails in the warm pool and watching the stars. Amazing.

Very nice apartments. Parking right in front of the apartment. Very clean. Indivudual washrooms so not sharing washrooms with other apartments. Very spacious inside. And many amenities in the kitchen like pots and pans to cook if you want, and a kettle etc. Highly recommend this apartment!!

The information center in the town hall was excellent. The worker there arranged for the Bobby Fischer Center to be opened for us and we had a wonderful experience there as well going south to the coast for beach hiking.
Loved Selfoss, quaint town and relaxing.
Growing, a lot of construction. Very good dinner at Cafe Kruz. New Almar Bakery very popular; good coffee and baked good for breakfast to go We went to Geysir and Gullfoss on way here from Vik; both destinations very worthwhile.
Centrally located for daily driving excursions.
Great place!
Selfoss is a great stop along the way. We liked that the town has convenient stores and restaurants: Jysk, Pizza Hut, Quiznos, etc. It feels like a little civilization along the beautiful Route 1!
