Overall I think this rental is good for a small family but could use some updating here and there. The main thing I believe prospective renters should know is that Vacasa asks that you drive 20-ish minutes (one way) from the house to pick up a parking pass within 24 hrs of arrival. That wouldn't be a big deal if we were staying for a while, but since we were there for just one day, I risked it and did not pick it up. I feel for what we paid, that pass should have been at the house. Not sure why that isn't the case already. The pros of the house: Pretty cool Sea Ranch architecture, great location that’s close to the lodge, ocean and trail, 2 nice new bathrooms , nice new large kitchen, a lovely view, and outdoor space for gathering. The "ok"s of the house: The hot tub was large but kind of dated and had weak jets. Even though there are 3 bedrooms, just know that only one is large with a view and the others are small and uninspired. And I would say that even though the size and view from the large bedroom is great, it really could use some updating/freshening up. Some of the artwork was covered in cobwebs just adding to an overall “just good, not great” feeling. All in all, I'm not sure it's worth the price for a couple but we did see a bobcat on the porch, so maybe it is! :)
