Our experience can only be translated in one multilingual word WOW This have been my 3 rd visit to Venezia myself and i have not experienced this type of service , quality and wow factor . The establishment , its history and location was only the beginning of our Wow factor. I can honestly say the entire staff brought it to a level that i never saw before and can only dream to receive in the future again . The hotel was amazing very close to vaporetto terminal. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was good it's worth the price. A/C needs some improvement .

The hotel is centrally located and is just a stones throw from St Mark’s Square, but that is about the only positive thing I can say about it. The hotel reception looks nice and gives the impression of a certain standard of hotel, however the room we were then shown to was very different. It was much shabbier than the main reception and seemed to be at the back of the hotel as we went through a separate entrance to reach it. The room didn’t look like the pictures we’d seen when booking, although perhaps we aught to have done more due diligence. The room itself was sparse and not at all modern, with very dated fittings and fixtures. The bathroom in particular was unpleasant and in desperate need of updating - I tried to use it as little as possible. There was a fridge in the room, which was helpful but other than that the pillows were wafer thin, the bed was hard as wood and the view was non existent out of the window. The telly didn’t give much hope either with only a few channels working. The staff at reception were generally helpful but not exactly friendly and the breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about. Luckily we had only booked to stay one night and we couldn’t wait to leave. Will not be returning again.

Clean room, very spacious. Great complimentary breakfast. Good quiet location.
