Welcome to The Sandpoint Sanctuary—a spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bath mountain retreat at the base of Schweitzer.
Perfect for ski trips and year-round getaways, this home sleeps up to 10 and offers effortless mountain access with the free Red Barn Shuttle directly across the street. Enjoy warm living spaces with a cozy fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and an easy 10-minute drive to downtown Sandpoint

Sandpoint Sanctuary is ideally located at the base of Schweitzer Mountain, directly across from the Red Barn shuttle lot for free, easy access to the slopes. It’s a great spot for skiers who want to skip the mountain drive while staying close to everything Sandpoint has to offer.

The home sits on a scenic one-acre lot with mountain views and open space, yet it’s just 10 minutes from downtown Sandpoint, where you’ll find local restaurants, coffee shops, and après-ski favorites.

Please note: train tracks run between the home and the shuttle lot, and train sounds may occasionally be heard. Sound machines are provided in every room for guest comfort.

In winter, the area is lively with visitors heading to Schweitzer, while summer brings easy access to Lake Pend Oreille, hiking trails, and North Idaho’s outdoor recreation. It’s an ideal location for guests seeking both adventure and convenience.

Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire home, including all living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, the outdoor deck, and the garage.

FREE SHUTTLE TO SCHWEITZER
Sandpoint Sanctuary is located directly across from Schweitzer Mountain Resort’s winter shuttle parking lot, known as The Red Barn. Guests can easily walk across the street, catch the free shuttle, and reach the mountain without driving up the hill. The shuttle also provides a convenient return after a day on the slopes.

IMPORTANT NOTE – TRAIN NOISE
Train tracks run between the home and the shuttle lot, and train sounds may occasionally be heard. To ensure guest comfort, sound machines are provided in every bedroom.

Sandpoint Sanctuary is ideally located at the base of Schweitzer Mountain, directly across from the Red Barn shuttle parking lot—the easiest way to reach the resort without driving up the hill. Simply walk across the street and hop on the free Schweitzer Shuttle, which runs daily throughout ski season.

Downtown Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille are just 10 minutes away by car, offering local restaurants, shops, and après-ski options. The home’s driveway and garage provide easy year-round parking access, even in snowy conditions.

Fantastic Home

We loved everything about this house. The location was great! Short drive to Schweitzer and to town. Owners were very responsive and went above and beyond to help us with our needs. Would definitely recommend this property. Very clean and spacious. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
