"Location attached to train station made travel to and from the city very easy. For sightseeing most tours left from the station. Also in the area there are a number of shrines and temples you can visit on a single walking route. The hotel also gave guests a free drink and 15% discount on the restaurants."

"The room was overlooking a wall and it was very very small. Very dated decor and old furniture. The bedding looked dirty and the room smelled like smoke - we booked a non smoking room. The location is good but the hotel was expensive (more expensive than the one in Kyoto that was 100 times better) and the overall condition of the property was not great. The staff speakers english but they were not very kind. "
