"Our stay here was very nice. Spider Lake is my favorite of all the inland lakes I have visited. Pontoon rental was super easy and smooth, and the place was clean and ready for our arrival.There were a couple of things that I feel others would like to know. The hot tub filter was SO LOUD! I couldn’t enjoy sitting outside while it was on because it completely killed the peaceful vibe. I also was under the impression from the listing and the photo posted of the living room that this unit was the bottom one of the building shown on the sandy beach. It is not. The view was still nice, but it was not right in front of the lake. I feel the listing could be more genuine in showing that as well as mentioning that there are multiple buildings and units in this complex. We did contact the owners in regards to the overhead light not working in the bedroom and they said they would come to check it out but they never did. There was a lamp in that room however, so there was still a source of light.Overall the stay was very nice, but those few little issues prevent me from a five star rating. I would recommend the property to others and stay again without hesitation."

"We loved staying here and were sad when we needed to go! Char and Dave were excellent hosts and we felt like we were staying with our favorite aunt and uncle! They treated us like family. The house set up was great, we loved the lake access, meeting Susie Q (cutest dog ever), loved the pontoon ride, and it felt like a true vacation. We recommend doing the peddle boat as we had a blast going out onto the lake. It was a bit challenging at first but we figured it out. We also enjoyed a firepit and Dave to the rescue to get it started when we weren’t so successful. Overall, this was probably the best Vrbo I have stayed in and never wanted to leave. As Char said upon our arrival “it’s your vacation, enjoy it!” And we sure did!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four adults had a lovely time at the Cabin at the Lake. We enjoyed sitting out on the furnished chairs (with pads!) gazing at the water and listening to the loons. We were surprised by how quiet the lake was during our visit - only a few people with motorized watercraft went by (we were there during the week of wildfire smoke, so that probably factored into it). Probably the most well-stocked kitchen I've encountered at a rental. It was a bit cramped for 4 adults and one big dog, but we made it work. The bath towels were plush, too!"
