5 mins from train station. 2 min walk to Mercato Central, stores all around. Breakfast from 7-10am. They keep it clean and they offer variety. Very nice staff. 100% recommended. Just be prepared for a very small shower :-)

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Florence. From the moment we arrived, the staff was kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The communication before and during our stay was excellent, which made everything feel smooth and easy. The location was perfect for enjoying Florence, and the hotel itself felt comfortable, clean, and well cared for. After long days walking through the city, it was a great place to come back to and relax. What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff made us feel taken care of without it ever feeling forced. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

Excellent hotel, clean and well maintained, great location, superb breakfast buffet, reasonably priced.

What a nice surprise! We've stayed at the Essence Hotel for only one night, and the stay couldn't be better. The room was spacious, with a very nice view of Firenze. Location was great, only 15 min walking from the Santa Maria Novella train station. And Rafaella, from the front desk, was so lovely with us.

The location was great, easy access to the train station and all the popular spots in Florence. We stayed in the junior suite which was very spacious, however the shower was designed poorly so a lot of water leaked every time we bathed. Breakfast buffet was standard. Towels provided were extremely old/thin/raggedy and unfortunately had an unpleasant smell. Overall probably won’t stay here again but will give stars for the good location and spacious room.
