"I booked this property through VRBO, but all communication was handled through Vacasa. The VRBO app never showed important details like the address, and I had to download the Vacasa app in order to check in and access basic information.Several amenities were closed due to the off-season, which was not disclosed in the listing. I also attempted to extend our stay by one day, but my request was never acknowledged or answered.There is a camera positioned outside the spare bedroom window, which felt uncomfortable and should be clearly disclosed. Additionally, the property is not beachfront as implied—there are two buildings in front of it and it is a short walk to the beach. During our stay, the property manager left a large note on our car for backing into the parking space, despite there being no signage and us being the only occupants in the building.While the unit itself was nice, the lack of communication and customer service both before and during our stay significantly impacted the experience and made it not worth the price.
