"This place was wonderful. There were 6 of us and we were all comfortable! The breakfast was amazing and the cleaning crew was awesome. We always had what we needed daily!"

"Staff was great, value was excellent, pool area was awesome, the pool did need a skim but was clean. The room was one of the nicest set up with a walk in shower which i prefer over a tub. Parking was easy. I got 20% discount from the Denny's which was 2 doors down, easy safe walk. Costco is near and a few parks nearby."

"Check-in/check-out was nice and easy. Rooms were nice & big. View of the beach, from our rooms was quite nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A note was posted that jacuzzi jets were not available to turn on. That was a bit disappointing. Rooms are located near the main street so we heard traffic and passing Metro train, through the night. Breakfast was more continental than a full breakfast. Overall stay was great."

"After COVID the hotel rates increased dramatically based on the few improvements to the rooms~ The bathtubs still have no mats in the tubs so they're very slippery~ Bathroom flooring always seems dirty~ The bed coverings are 2 sheets and a thin blanket, we froze both nights! But it's one individual in particular, Kevin, who is very matter of fact and never friendly or helpful! I've been staying at LHL several times a year for the last 10 years and every front desk agent is helpful and friendly, all but Kevin! It was 2 years ago, when I booked through the hotel directly, tgat I was charged a "BED TAX" which resulted in another $100 being added to my bill! I questioned it and Kevin became argumentative and couldn't explain what this tax was for and why isn't it mentioned on their website! That's when I stopped staying there~"
