"We weren’t sure what to expect but this was a great place to stay with a family! We were wanting to go camping but after 4 failed attempts near there, we ended up camping at the San Clemente Inn. We even made s’mores on the stove in the room. Room had a separate bedroom and two Murphy beds, which was great for us. The kids loved the pool/jacuzzi. They have a rec room as well. Beach is maybe 10 minute walk away. We’d definitely stay again. "

"The two-BR unit with a private patio overlooking the golf course was a perfect place to stay while attending the weekend events of a wedding. It's a short drive to Laguna Beach, the beds were comfortable, the place was super clean, and communication with the host was excellent and clear. I highly recommend it!"

"I booked this rental based on the pictures and then read the reviews later. I was nervous after reading the reviews bit have to say i was pleasantly surprised. It's clear that the owners listened to the feedback of others. And honestly you are literally steps away from the ocean. It's the best location. We woke up and watched seals and dolphins. The weather wasn't great when we were there and were so comfortable inside playing have and watching the waves roll in. Such a great trip. Everything...

"We had a good time staying here. The location is unbeatable. However, the floors were not clean and the beds had some debris on them when we arrived. Various things in the house were rickety and/or broken as other reviews have mentioned. The host was quick to respond, but didn’t resolve anything proactively. The kitchen needs more dishes to allow for larger groups."

Plenty of beach gear available to borrow, we used chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards for multiple great days at the beach. Easy access to all parts of San Clemente. "The location was easily accessible from the freeway, close to the John Wayne Airport and the room provided the peace and quiet needed to sleep. The breakfast included in the price of the room was nice to have. My daughter and I only stayed for one night. We liked the fact that we were able to get everything done within the hotel before checking-out to attend a wedding. We would definitely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel."
