"There was no hot water. I wasn’t able to tell anyone because I was running to catch a flight I booked to stay there on my way out and it was fine. The staff was so helpful. "

The room was at least three decades past an update. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and the staff and service was great. Prices in the gift shop were not clearly marked and the clerk tried to sell me a small bottle of water for $6 US dollars. "

"Barcelo San Jose hotel is impecable in every respect- cleanliness, service etc. It has 3 restaurants to choose from: Japanese, all you can eat buffet, and another one with table sevice. I chose the bufet and the food was great. People are very friendly, kind and ready to help. Its all-around 5 star rating! You don't see many of those nowadays:) "
