Most modern hotel that I’ve found in the Bologna area, staff are excellent

We requested a king bed and got two twins, one of which was horribly squeaky. Every time I moved while on it, it screeched.... Not great when we already knew we'd get very little sleep having to get up at 2:00 a.m. for an early morning flight. Plus, the front desk people flat out ignored me on a couple of occasions when I approached the desk with a question. I don't know if I was supposed to do something special to get them to acknowledge me and to help me. I assumed my presence at the desk would indicate I needed some assistance.
