サン ドナートのプールのあるホテル

「ホテルにやっと着くと、番号の付いた鍵が渡され階上なら石の階段を荷物とともに自力で部屋まで上がります。 安いからしょうがないと思いました。 部屋の数字は手描きのローマ数字なので馴染みがない我々には見当がつきません。どこかわからずレセプションに尋ねに戻るとご機嫌ナナメな感じで教えてくれました。来てはもらえません。 とにかく親切とはいえない男性スタッフの対応です。でも翌日の女性スタッフはとても良い感じでした。 部屋は写真よりずっと素敵で、清潔で暖かいです。お湯もよく出ます。 ただし階上の人の音がベッドのきしみまでけっこう聞こえます。 駅から遠くタクシーも高いルッカなのでバックパッカーか車で行く人には良いかも知れません。」

「Small but very nice hotel. It is located outside the historical center in a semi-rural environment. That is conducive to a quiet, relaxing stay. Getting to the historical center is an easy walk or one can use public transportation or taxis. The pool is beautiful but useable only in the summer as it not heated. Good breakfast by the pool in a enclosed room. Last but not least staff is courteous and always willing to help.」
