Perfect location

Listing might actually undersell what a great spot this is. Walkable to so many things, garage parking is key, and the rooftop deck is ideal. Pretty much perfect.

Perfect little getaway.

Family beach weekend

Lovely property, great location

Good spot with space for extended family. Fit 8 of us with no problem. A little warm without ac but with windows open at night it was comfortable. Great location right by the beach. Love the rooftop deck and so nice to have a garage!

Beach getaway

Garage fit 2 cars which is rare for beachfront. Liked having baths all 3 floors. Great location. Were able to bring our Bernedoodle too.

Great place even without internet

Great location, clean, good communication, and easy check-in. Good layout. Internet was spotty first couple of days and then died. Tech was supposed to come out but never arrived. We left next day, so probably fixed now. Recommend.

Liked everything about property except bunkbed and futons. They didn’t really work for our family. One adult slept on the couch. Futons we’re not comfortable. Would rent next year except for that.

Great property!

The house layout and location was great. Nice 3rd story balcony with a slice of ocean view. I personally prefer to be back from the boardwalk but still close so this property was perfect. The only negative consideration - the 2 futons counted as beds are NOT comfortable. We had a kid and a teenager on them and both complained of how hard they were. Maybe a thick pad to go on top would help. They are also small, so fit a child better than a grown teenager or adult. The property management communicated often and was very prompt.

The house was super clean. It's 20 feet from Pacific Beach. We walked every day along the boardwalk. Imagine, 70 degree at night whereas in the Midwest it was -17 degree . Self checkin was easy; had a little problem since the code did not work at first but management opened it remotely. Also management texted frequently to see if we were happy with the house. The only issue we had was the grill did not work; the fire was low and the grill heat max out at 200 F, it was our last evening so we didn't want to bother to have it fixed. Overall, we had a great time. I would recommend it and rent it again

Great location, superb walkability.

This was a very fun place to stay with my family. The check-in process was fully self-service (and easy). Overall, we would stay here again if we were to re-book the same trip. The primary detractors from a 5-star experience were: (1) Across the alley was a home under a full-renovation. The alleyway was used for cutting countertops, and overall there was unwanted noise from surrounding houses. More transparency during the booking process would have been helpful. (2) Lack of common amenities. The home had some sand toys and only two beach chairs. If there were beach towels, additional chairs, etc. that would have been more aligned with a three bedroom place close to the beach. The kitchen lacked standard supplies (foil, olive oil, etc.) so we had to run to the market for some basics. Some of the pillows we had to put in the closet. While the cases were clean, the pillows looked pretty dingy. Hey, pillows get dingy, I get it. Overall, we had a great trip, and would book this place again, but a few things made it a 4-star stay vs. a 5-star stay. The property management team was very responsive and helpful with the few questions we had throughout the stay, so thank you to that team.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This home was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend! The location was amazing, and it was so close to so many restaurants and shopping ! The house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and the free bike rentals were a huge plus!! Will definitely be back!

Solid home with good location

We have 9 people staying at the house and it worked out well. Plenty of room for sleeping, the only things to watch out for is that it can be pretty bright when going to sleep due to outside lights (neighbors) and thin white blinds. But other than that, the place worked out well for our group. Everything we needed for cooking, beach towels, chairs.

Mission Beach Vacation

We loved this house. Spacious, clean, wonderful rooftop deck with great view of the ocean. Easy check in/out. Less than one minute walk to Mission Beach.

Great House Christmas Getaway

Sleeping arrangements worked great for two families. Enjoyed a lot of time on the upper deck area looking at the waves roll in. Perfect for the teenage kids to independently walk around and shop at close by stores. Would stay here again!

Family vacation

Beachfront Home-away-from-Home

With 4 kids under 8 years old, the location was perfect! In under 2 minutes we could have our chairs and towels set up on the beach. The beach toys provided were an extra perk the kids loved playing with. Having the full 3 stories to spread out made our stay enjoyable, as with a group of 8, space can become very cramped. The rooftop balcony is where we spent a majority of our time! The view during both night and day made the property worth it! At night, seeing the boardwalk from the balcony with the nightly light-up bike run brought smiles to all of us. Also, if you stay during the weekend, SeaWorld puts on an awesome firework show you can see from the balcony! Our few complaints: - We were not prepared to not have an A/C in the house. When we first arrived to the house, it was very warm but the draft by opening all the windows and doors helped. - The wi-fi connection could have have been better. There was a note in the binder about unplugging the router if connectivity issues, which we experienced several times a day. - The dishwasher malfunctioned the 2nd day we were there, but were were still able to use it until the end of our stay. - The bunk bed in the house had a third pull-out bed that we immediately noticed damage when we attempted to use it for the kids. Thankfully there were enough other spaces for the kids to be comfortable for the night. Overall, our group of 8 was very pleased with this property!

Mission Bay Beach House

We booked the house on the hottest weekend of the year with no a/c. That being said, we thought we would arrive with CLEAN fans and working internet. It took the company until 4 pm the next day to replace the fans and temporarily fix the internet. We spent all weekend rebooting the internet. We also felt there was misrepresentation regarding the TV's. Only until we received specific check-in info did they disclose there was only 1 working tv with cable. Not cool! For the amount of money we paid, it was not a pleasant experience at all!
