We loved our October stay at the 2nd Floor Surf Rider Condo in Mission Beach. The location can’t be beat - right on the beach in the middle of Mission Beach. All of the amenities and finishes were in great shape. The kitchen was very well equipped, though compact.We had our own outdoor space on the second floor patio to watch the surfers, waves, whales, and dolphins, and great people watching with the boardwalk right in front of the condo. There is also a hot tub on the first floor patio where you can take in the views while relaxing in style. The living room features a huge picture window that lines up with another huge picture window in the bedroom so you can watch the ocean gradually light up in the morning with the sunrise and coffee in bed. The weather wasn’t great for swimming, but we rented bikes from Stay Classy Bikes in downtown and had a great time biking the boardwalk as well as circling Mission bay. It was a great way to check out various bars and restaurants without ever having to get in the car. Stay Classy bikes delivered and picked up really nice comfort bikes at a great price and directly to the condo; don’t waste your money on rusty clunkers at high prices from the local Mission beach bike shops.The only real negative was the ‘European style’ lock on the door. It took a lot of messing around to get it to lock each time we went out, and it seemed to operate a little differently each time. By the end of the fourth day we had nearly mastered it.

The location is amazing! The boardwalk/people watching is so fun to watch. The sunsets are unbelievable. The condo has everything you need if you want to cook/grill/beach chairs, etc. We brought our own soap/shampoo but that was also provided. The management was so responsive with texts/communication. We did find some dirty sheets, to put on the pull out sofa in the cabinet. However, that may have been a previous guest just throwing them back up in the closet. However, there is a washer/dryer in the condo, which we were able to wash those & other laundry we had & they have the detergent right there. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wow! Perfect location! Everything was amazing, from access to the beach, to the neighbors to THE VIEW! Everything that we needed this place had. We could truly relax! We are a family of four (7 and 13 year old) and stayed almost a week, will be staying here again, but for longer!!!

Great location!! The condo was right off the boardwalk and steps to the beach. Lots of great restaurants nearby! You can watch a spectacular sunset from outside your room and cross the street in the morning to see an incredible sunrise. Check-in was easy and I appreciated the welcome basket of goodies. It did say in the listing there was no A/c in the unit. There was also no breeze the days I stayed and the 2 tower fans provided were not enough to keep the unit cool. I slept a couple nights in the pullout bed in the living room and there was only a ceiling fan for that room.There was an issue with the hot water. I was only able to get a hot shower in some of the evenings. Even after letting the water run for a long period of time as the instructions suggested.There also is something wrong with the filtered water spout on the kitchen sink, does not smell good at all and the change filter light is blinking. We never used it and bought bottled water from the little market across the street.There was manager presence on-site, but I didn’t reach out for a possible fix to my issues because it was a family vacation with limited time to spend together.The unit served its purpose for me and we had a great vacation.

Our second stay was great!

Such a great location with a great view all day! The kids went to Belmont Park daily and the surfing was great right in front of the condo. We also loved the nightly dip in the community hot tub. Dominique and Simone were very responsive and nice!

Surfrider fun

We really appreciated it that the property had a boogieboards, beach chairs and a sun umbrella. The kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub is nice. You can't beat the location. We were there in a heat wave for a few days and there is no air conditioning, so it was miserably hot inside. The ocean is not as cold as it to be. The property manager is the best I have ever encountered everencountered on VRBO

Always a fantastic place to stay on the beach.

Once again, I am staying at the Surfrider unit F. The view is spectacular. It is always clean and feels like home away from home. With direct beach access and views, coming from Colorado you can’t beat it. The property is close to restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities, and has plenty of items to have a day at the beach. I love this property so much. I stayed with my sister to watch my son play football and get a chance to refresh and refill at the beach. I will be back again in a few weeks.
