"The property did not look like the pictures on Expedia website which seem photoshopped, the sign has fell of the front of the hotel and the hotel room had stains on the walls and roof. The hotel is also part farm and the animals look sick. Maybe this was a nice hotel in the past but now it’s just not fit for purpose."

"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "I’ve stayed at this hotel twice. Once in 2015 and now in 2025, and it didn’t change at all! It is such a convenient spot as you can walk out of the hotel and go left or right and have shops/stores/food all at your finger tips. "

"Nothing special about this resort, it seems to be mainly for Chinese tourist groups. We were the only two European tourists staying there and it was eerily quiet after breakfast when the Chinese groups had left. Hotel was quite old and run down, not renovated for a while.
