We absolutely loved our stay here. All the staff were incredibly friendly, atmosphere was very relaxing, food was fantastic, spa service was fantastic and facilities were very clean. It was the perfect spot as part of our honeymoon!

The food was great and the atmosphere was beautiful and it felt like nature. The workers and staff are very nice. The thing about the pool is that it's covered under the trees so the water is very cold and almost too cold to go in. The room was only cleaned halfway throughout our time in there. Overall it was a beautiful location but I plan on finding a place where the pool would be more usable and our room would be more cleaned up.

We loved this hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We had a swim up room and definitely recommend it. We ate at the restaurant for both breakfast and lunch and were not disappointed. If we could change anything we would like the pool to stay open later than 7pm.

We didn't do much shopping, so can't say. 7 11 was close by for little things we needed. The spa was nice, steam room and Thai massage. Staff were super nice and very helpful. Dining was very nice, service, food all great

Old room, a bit noisy. Could hear the airplanes and the british couple fighting the next building over. Lovely staff - special mention to Phon the concierge and the man working the pool bar. I left some medication in my room and they had it ready for me to pick up when we went back later in the evening. A bit odd that they asked if i had left anything else in the room, but i couldnt think of any. Realised later I actually left some other items like a portable speaker so why didn't they just tell me? We liked that it was a bit out of the city centre, but belived it was more remote and not in the suburbs.

we totally loved our four night stay at Khum Phaya Resort. Our room 5102 was great. I totally loved the shower! Unfortunately, no time to try out the bathtub, but it looked amazing. We enjoyed our sitting area by the pool, but, yes, the water in November was a bit colder than would be inviting for us. Staff was amazing. The hype about Pond at the tour desk is legit. She's great, as were the women at the reception desk. Breakfast wasn't the most amazing we've ever seen but the omelets were very good and there was a good choice of fruit, it was enough. The place is beautiful with all its trees. We'll be back for a conference in January. I think it may be a different experience from the quiet stay we just had. We found the location good with lots of businesses and a very nice massage place just across the street. Central Festival Mall was a long walk (we tuk-tukked back). Mostly, Grab taxis came quite quickly.

The property is beautiful. Lana architecture. Beautiful grounds gardens pool is amazing. Rooms are getting older, but they are not sad. Very clean. The staff makes everything worthwhile. About 20 minutes from the old city. It is easy to grab a taxi. All the guests seem very happy and very relaxed. I will return.

The Khum Phaya is a lovely relaxing place . It’s like a tropical paradise with it’s ponds, long wandering tile pool and it’s friendly staff. A place I would go back too !

We had an excellent stay. The staff is so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The property is just beautiful. We also were able to walk to a nearby supermarket/ mall area which was excellent. Only about 20 min from the main area in Chiang Mai- easy to get rides from “Grab”. Highly recommended

A Lanna Kind of World.

Romantic birthday spa stay. It feels like a different world. One steeped in rich Lanna history and architecture. The touch of pride is evident. Quick and clean housekeeping and room service. Good buffet and breakfast. The giant pool connecting many of the rooms, adds a fun and adventurous vibe. I highly suggest for any occasion. They have live music on holidays.

Beautiful hotel

Excellent hotel. This beautiful hotel rich in vegetation and water. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained. The breakfast is rich and very tasty. The staff is courteous and provides excellent service. The manager Emi is very nice and very professional. The trip to the city and the nearest mall is very quick and cheap. I recommend the rooms with pool access. This hotel is perfect. I will come back here again

This place was amazing. The staff and the pool and everything was great. It was clean and nice and cool and lots to do. Tips get added at check out though we tipped at the spa and pool bar anyway. It was nice to kind of step out of the city but still relatively close. A block away is a local night market. Pad Thai was 45b and the beer was 60b so much less than the big tourist markets. A shopping center is in the same spot which was like a target or Walmart if you need anything that you can’t or don’t get at the markets.

The property was stunning! It could stand to have a bit of work done on some of the buildings. It was not super close to attractions we visited. This slowed you to enjoy a fairly quiet hotel that had a very lovely natural ambiance. The spa area was clean and efficient. It was a bit more expensive than some other options but I imagine that was the convenience of having it right next to your room. We got the signature pack and felt very good afterward. The pool was grand in every sense of it. It was on the chilly side for morning swims but definitely a stunning feature! The breakfast buffet was decent. Again you end up paying more for convenience and more American style food. However it is right outside when you wake up. The room, the shower, the patio, and the grounds were all fantastic and contributed to a stellar honeymoon experience!

The room was roomy and comfortable. The onsite restaurant was really good and wasn't overly busy. All the staff were gracious, warm and friendly. Loved the Thia Milk Tea. Breakfast was very good as well and I have never seen someone flip eggs the way that she does. The internet would break up moving from spot to spot but was almost always able to connect. The staff was constantly working on the grounds and the pool to maintain it. And, it was the first time I had had a massage and I loved it! I booked my wife for a 3 hour pampering while I had the 1.5 hour Swedish massage. A few days later I was ready for another one. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Be aware, there are mosquitoes everywhere in Thailand. Use Incognito. We never got bit.
