This is a detached house in a quiet residential neighborhood, which is what my wife and I wanted to experience in Japan.It's spacious with a nice-sized living room and a full-sized kitchen/dining area. Note that the third floor has two of the bedrooms but the bathrooms are only on the first and second floor."

"The manager is super nice, responds very quickly to any questions or concerns I had. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s a residential area. It was only a few minute walk to a family mart, 7-11 and to a train station. Having multiple bathroom was nice because there were 5 of us. It was just different that we had to go on the 2nd and 3rd floor to use the toilet. The ground floor had the shower so we always had to bring up our dirty clothes up to wash it. But it felt very comfortable! "

Check in was terrifying after 20 hours of travel as the host neglected to inform us the key lock code was changed.
