Saint Mary's College

Solid little hotel with an excellent value compared to other Berkeley properties at the same time of year. I was a bit taken aback at first by the strong smell of Fabuloso and the less than posh surroundings. But the room was very clean with updated flooring and bedding, The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to a Bart station, which made getting around very convenient. There is also free parking if you do have your own car. Nothing fancy - breakfast consisted of coffee, tea and packaged baked goods and soap/shampoo products were cheap quality. Definitely worth considering if you are traveling to the Berkeley/SF area on a budget.

I like location. Room was clean but bathroom and fixtures lights witches need updating. Staff was helpful when teens turned poolroo. Into a free for all. Jumping shooting water guns and eating. All against signed rules. Staff dealt with issue immediately. Need room service for those with disability. Restaurant breakfasts were wonderful. Free breakfast. Don't bother with take and go. Sit and enjoy the Restaurants view. Excellent wait staff.
