"Lovely 3 story cottage with lots of space. So close to Ambleside centre but so quiet! Amazing walks for dogs within 5 minutes of the property which was great. Gorgeous views too from top bedroom in particular. Would definitely stay again."

"High Ridge is perfectly situated right in the middle of Ambleside. However, it really does need some TLC. There are damp patches on the walls , the bed linen is rather questionable, & the window blinds are just simply dreadful . They let light in, don’t work properly & are very tatty indeed. The furnishings are of poor quality & there are just far too many dreadful pictures on the walls. The kitchen & bathroom are good but the rest of the property needs a jolly good face lift .
