「There were spots of blood on the bathroom floor. I would not stay during a heat wave. We ended up leaving because the room was boiling hot, and whilst there was a fan, it just wafted warm air around, you couldn't open the windows because it had a safety link on it. The receptionist was lovely but she couldn't get hold of any managers and whilst she offered us a room on the other side of the hotel, it wasn't much cooler and didn'thave the extra bed we needed. We'd had book 2 rooms for 2 couokes...

「Stayed at the Fox and Goose for 5 days. Looked after by the staff at all times. Very comfortable room which was serviced daily. The food was excellent with good sized meals which were served by very pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again.」

「Breakfast was very good all nice and hot. Unfortunately the room still had rubbish in it from previous occupants. The shower had more water coming out the bath taps than the shower head! All staff were very helpful and friendly」

「The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. All aspects are perfect for my family. Thanks Graham. Best regards」

「A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.」

「A very cool/reserved welcome. Check-in seems like an effort. Quickly settled and sat outside for a drink - went inside because the language was disgusting. The swearing inside was no better and neither was the misogynistic comments from the senior members. Good place to stay but let down by the clientele」

「The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.」
