"This place was great overall, the staff was kind and the breakfast was the best we have seen in awhile. We stayed here for three nights, and the breakfast changed a bit each morning.. that's a nice touch. The coffee was good, the beds were comfortable, the TV was modern with apps, and the rooms were clean. Very nice so far. Here's why I had to leave a less than great review. 1) No room service. They stated at the counter that it was every other day, and we had none during our 3 day stay. Bummer deal. 2) We were treated to a surprise $12 per night parking fee. The front counter person cautiously explained that it was listed on the hotel page. It was, under "Optional Extras" at the bottom of the page past all of the room options. If your counter person is embarrassed, something needs to change. Don't shock your customers, just raise the rates of the rooms. 3) Lastly, put microwaves in all of the rooms. If there is a fridge in there, there needs to be a microwave too. I get it, it's in the lobby, but it's not what anyone is hoping for. To be honest, we'd definitely come back. There are more pros than cons. It's just a bit confusing with nickel and dime nonsense and a whoopsie on the lack of housekeeping. This is a five star establishment. "

"I'm local but heard about the Onsen and had to come try it. It was a lovely experience and worth the trip and money. The staff were friendly, the rooms and building as clean and in excellent condition. It was delightful. I've been to Japan before and I definitely got an authentic Japanese experience in the onsen. I'm 5'10" and the women's onsen was two feet deep. If you're a tall and use the women's onsen, just know that your shoulders and neck may not be submerged if you sit down in the water. I had to get creative. This was not a deterrent for me at all, and pretty consistent with what I experienced as a tall person in Japan. "

"The location for us was perfect w/the plans we had made for the wknd. We loved our room, the breakfasts, hot tub & pool area. I forgot to closely check the written amenities lists & fees, so was surprised that we ended up paying $12/ day for parking in the hotel lot. There was other parking all around the hotel, so be aware of that."

"The pool was closed for “maintenance.” This was very upsetting to my son. I wish they could let us know prior to booking because we would have booked somewhere else. "

"We loved staying at the Orenco Station hotel. We stayed a week and enjoyed both the queen room with fireplace (B5) and the king room right next door with kitchen and table for four. Everything was comfortable, clean and friendly. We will book again. The daily pastry/ drink tickets to the local bakery were amazing. Unforgettably delicious. "
