Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk
10/10 Excellent
"This fabulous hotel exceeded our expectations! Every part of the hotel was exceptionally clean, including the room, restaurant, lobby, stairwell, pool, lawns and elevator. We could not have been happier! The beach and hotel location to the beach and pier was amazing! We love the dog friendly atmosphere and how friendly the staff were towards our dogs! Steamers and Rundown restaurants within walking distance were added bonuses. Cannot wait to book our next trip here. Loved our experience and cannot say anything bad about this Hilton!"
Travelodge by Wyndham Outer Banks/Kill Devil Hills

"Rooms were nice besides the spiderwebs on the balcony. Hotel was quiet which was nice and not a far walk at all to the beach. Elevators were extremely slow and 1 broke down. Vending machines didnt work. Asked the lady at the front desk for extra towels and they didnt have any which doesnt make sense when you have housekeeping. More amenities even forks,spoons etc would be nice. Best parts of the hotel were the room and how quiet it was"

"The stay was a decent value. Excellent access to the beach - loved the little community porch facing the water. Hotel room had the basics we needed, nothing extra. The beds are uncomfortable - my partner was painfully stiff each day. The ice machine in our building was broken for the duration of our stay. The included breakfast was better than expected - boiled eggs, muffins, waffle making station and juices. Pool is far too cold to use in September, but was clean and kept up well. We had a private balcony, but it was within two feet of the ramp everyone uses for the beach. Overall, appreciated the beach proximity."

"I did not feel that certain things met Wyndham standards.We had a ceiling tile hanging in the bathroom. One of the quilts had two tears in it.The mattresses needed replacing. The staff was polite. We loved the location."

Ocean Sands Beach Boutique Inn - Stay At the Beach

"Great location and very clean. The vibes were just a little off. The check-in was someone on an iPad from their home. They had signs everywhere about getting toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc if needed but when asked, it was a problem. We needed an extra towel for our room and it was a 30-minute, three-person process. But overall very good!"
