Shutters on the Banks

"We loved the property. Our room was oversized, with King bed, sleeper sofa and comfortable matching chair, Huge TV, just a really nice place. I mentioned to the desk clerk that we were celebrating our 53rd anniversary. When we arrived we saw Happy 53rd Anniversary Mr and Mrs Whitley on the marquee. The bed was sprinkled with soft red hearts and also LOVE was written with the same hearts across the bed. Also, made a heart and a swan out of towels like they do on a cruise. We will definitely return to Shutters on the Banks. Candy and David"

"We had third floor with ocean view and it was spectacular! We had a beautiful view from the living area as well as our bed! The kitchen was perfect and we were able to do a load of laundry, which was very helpful on our extended rode trip! We ate breakfast and a couple of dinners in the bistro. The crab bisque was five star. I had grilled shrimp on a garden salad with the house basil vinaigrette and it was exceptional. Breakfast was very good too. The only down side was it was stormy and apparently that knocked out the elevators so we had to lug all our stuff down three flights of stairs on check out. PS: The waitress in the bistro was a sweetheart!"

"Fantastic property with lodge/game room/BBQ/picnic area, fitness room, indoor/outdoor pool, small lake with paddle boats, 3 walking trails. Rooms extremely spacious, well equipped, and maintained. You need a several day stay to appreciate it fully."
