Please AVOID their airport shuttle. The hotel staff push it as an add on during check in, and offer the "simple" of prepayment option. Cost is listed as 6 Euros; but costs 9 Euros per person - they do not mention the added fees. They also do not tell you that the shuttle stops at the road and not in the hotel foyer. And that the shuttle is a hit and miss (we missed it even though we were at the outside, in the rain, at that time!). And the prepaid tickets are not refundable - even though they had these red "event" tickets in a box and could have easily returned them! Uber to the airport: 12 Euros; taxi: 23 Euros - we took both options. So, avoid the shuttle! Restaurant staff and food: excellent!

I was very happy to find this boutique hotel within shouting distance of the Messe. For many years I stayed at the Marriott but wanted a change. It is a charming, quiet and comfortable hotel. The staff are particularly good natured and helpful. I hope no one reads this review so the rates don’t go up too much for next year. Be aware though it’s not fancy or upscale so if that is what you are after it may not be the right fit for you.

Location is close to train station but in a sketchy area. Room had bed bugs. We were given another room which also had bed bugs and were not comfotable staying at this property, we had to find another hotel at 2am. Staff was helpful but couldn’t speak english which made it difficult during the situation. We did receive a refund from the hotel as expedia pushed for one. Would not recommend staying here
